Witness appeal following theft from a motor vehicle - Swinbrook Road, Shipton Under Wychwood

We are appealing for witnesses following a report of theft from a motor vehicle in Shipton-under-Wychwood.

The incident occurred between 00:30 and 02:00 hours on Sunday 28 June 2026 in Swinbrook Road, Shipton-under-Wychwood, Oxfordshire.

An individual is believed to have attended a building site and tampered with machinery in an attempt to siphon fuel from vehicles. This is the third similar incident reported at this location.

The investigating officer, PC Bruce Claridge, based at Chipping Norton, would like to hear from anyone who may have information, or CCTV/dashcam footage from the area during this time.
